It has a really interesting setup and some inventive and fun ideas but the tone sinks to juvenile lows and comedy that doesn't land far more often than it sticks to its interesting core plot. There is so much fluff and padding to stretch this thing out, and so many of the mandatory conversations are completely pointless, uninteresting diversions, and the characters are more often than not grating rather than entertaining

A really slow build up to a great twist. Was it worth it? Yes, but you have to trudge through the REALLY slow burn build up.
