I also give Nintendo credit for their willingness to experiment and bring something new to the table. Like Splatoon when it was released this suffered from a lack of content (at least when I played it, I know they've released some DLC), but I can't fault the actual gameplay because it's a lot of fun. And above all else, it's unique and should be supported.

ARMS can be fun; it's inventive, intriguing, and each character has ups and downs, which is how a fighting game should be. However, using its recommended motion-controlled method of playing can be hit or miss and often frustrating. A single jab can be misinterpreted as a double-jab, resulting in an unwanted grab, etc. The lack of a single-player campaign to flesh out the world and characters makes ARMS a title for those passionate about competitive online play; not much here for the rest of us.
