Prince Ali, who has discovered a buried gold "armlet" which once belonged to a wizard who waged a long war against the evil wielder of a silver armlet. The silver armlet was used to create chaos and destruction, while the gold armlet had the power to summon four spirits: the water spirit, "Dytto"; the fire spirit, "Efreet"; the shadow spirit, "Shade"; and the plant spirit, "Bow". Sega's response to Nintendo's Zelda, and it's a damn fine one at that. Has a really great world, better combat than LttP, and some really good enemy and boss design. While I don't think the game reaches LttP's quality of dungeons or world design, what it offers is a unique and well-designed alternative with beat'em'up like gameplay that carves out its own identity. A shame Sega never followed up on this title.

This is an alternative to Zelda L.T.T.P. You have 4 spirits helping you each with their own unique ability. You go to Dungeons fight enemies, power your guy up as there is RPG elements in this game. What I like the most about this game, is that you can save anywhere in the open World. Also when they mark a white flag on the map telling you where to go, you actually go to that white flag. Unlike Zelda L.T.T.P where you have to figure out where to go.
