fun multiplayer / coop game

It's fun for short bursts but the gameplay doesn't nearly live up to its gimmick of including some of the most iconic action-movie heros of the 80's and 90's.

This was a riot for its entire premise, and the platforming was so good that it actually held my attention all the way to that sonofabitch of a final boss. Seriously, don't let the theme of this turn you away. Don't even buy it as a lark. It's fucking great and is entirely self-aware of both its own absurd theme and how fucking great it is.

Broforce is an amazing concept that does justice to its premise. It's satisfying to git gud at this game and every character feels unique and brings something new to the table. I'd rate this much higher if the game didn't force you to play characters randomly. every character is unique enough that it'd be fun and unique to play through the game with any individual character. That aside, 10/10 escalation - from terrorists in Vietnam to robots to aliens to literally Satan! Badass!
