Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons

Roguelites are a hard sell for me generally but I love Bubble Bobble. The typical gameplay loop absolutely still works. The roguelite aspects and design kill this. Early on it’s fun. But still early on, it switches to incredibly grindy. The missions kill the momentum. Just let me go through the stages. Don’t require me to exchange for x number of items. Let me upgrade, go on runs. Sure, the stages change, but you really quickly start seeing the same ones pop up. - Full Review
