Castlevania: Lament of Innocence

LoI has a lot of design decisions that I find utterly baffling. The fixed camera angle makes platforming disorienting, the real-time menu makes using items cumbersome, and blocking to refill mana makes using skills feel pointless. Aside from that, the combat is pretty mashy with enemies so non-threatening you can just run past them with impunity bolstered by bland, linear level design. In fairness, it has some decent boss fights but this only makes it slightly less shitty than Curse of Darkness.
