Control: Resonant

Outstanding art direction that strikingly defamiliarizes familiar everyday objects into a twisted cosmic horrorscape, top notch cinematics and facial capture, jaw dropping visual spectacle, and incredible level design filled with fun traversal options make this Remedy open world sandbox adventure the class of the genre. While boss design is at best adequate the combat provides many build options to keep things fresh.
