When the roguelike meets history.

I suspect this was the coolest game ever for those who could get into it. I'll readily admit this was too complex for me. My rating is not a reflection of the game's potential or content, but purely the level of (non-)enjoyment I got out of it. December edit: Yup, its more hand-holdy little brother is right up my alley.

Similar to EUIV in gameplay but perhaps even shallower. A lot of tedious chores raising children but necessary to try and raise your child to be healthy. Your vassals seem to just have unpredictable reactions and the enemies always get bigger armies despite me having much more territory making it a frustrating experience.

I'll second rosenritter: "Seems like my kinda thing, and I keep trying, but I can't get into this at all." I'll still give it a good score out of respect.

The easier of the Paradox games strategically wise, it has a interesting mix of strategy and RPG that makes for a unique and compelling gameplay. The best way to play it it's indeed impersonating your characther traits: so let's try to not raise a dumb heir here.

Impressive in its scope and reach but its a hard fucking game to get a hang of, and its a big turn off at times.

Seems like my kinda thing, and I keep trying, but I can't get into this at all.
