Adds a ton of new mechanics but the map design feels kinda cookie cutter compared to past games and the main game is shorter than past titles. The plot isn't terrible, but it meanders much harder than past games and some new mechanics like magichange feel pretty worthless. I don't get the hate for Mao, though. His story arc is pretty asinine, but at least he isn't bland and overtly moronic like what Adell was. The supporting cast, especially Champloo and Almaz, are also great.
