Dragon Ball Z: Idainaru Dragon Ball Densetsu
Featuring many classic Dragon Ball heroes and villains as playable characters, this fighting game reimagines the show's famous battles, putting the player in the action. Its unique gameplay, combining the use of a ki meter (power that must be charged to battle) and a power balance meter, showing the momentum of the battle, must be mastered together for the player to achieve victory.

Maybe it's heresy but I always preferred this game (Saturn version, of course) over its harder-to-find cousin, Dragon Ball Z: Shin Butoden. The air-based fighting, and the charge-and-momentum based fighting gameplay was addictive. It also matched the show's ne'er realistic approach to physical brutality - fighting taking place across both whole planets and episodes, and death being often reversible, subject to the whims of the story, not necessarily the action.
