Finding this game in a Japanese bargain bin was the equivalent of Raiders of the Lost Ark, stealing that Golden Statue out of the South American temple. What a surprise it was, then, to take it home and find out it was actually a middle-tier fighter, and disappointingly boring to boot. The ability to fight characters in "split screen" completely out of sight is the equivalent of using a sniper rifle with the sight off. Even then, it had its moments.
