It's not even the jank that bothers me, it's the progression. It takes way too much time to become anything at all. I don't need to feel overpowered from the beginning or anything, but the good RPGs don't feel this unsatisfying from the jump. The rest of it is whatever... it would be possible if not for how shit the pacing is.
