FAR: Lone Sails

Just another cinematic platformer with plenty of sights to show and not much to say. Pointless. I bet even if I didn't try at all the game would let me continue for the sake of just keeping the story moving.

I want to call it great because the graphics are beautiful in a post-apocalyptic way and they managed to make a very lonely atmosphere engaging with subtle flourishes of music and an understanding of how to do it effectively. But I can't call it truly great because while I like the vehicle, the actual gameplay loop is not its strength. It didn't bore me but it became more of a chore that a fun mechanic, even if at first the add-ons were cool. Still, a cool take on the exploration genre.
