a step down from the previous installment. it's not too easy in that it's only as easy as you need it to be, but the real issue is how bogged down it gets with its characters. there's always someone or something new being introduced and the story suffocates for it.

One of the easiest titles in the series, but it isn't necessarily a step backward. The map screen is a neat even if it allows you to grind, the class system has been improved, and the map design is still solid. The main plot is decent even if it's predictable and Eirika does some dumb shit at times. Aside from that, this game boasts some of the best support conversations backed by one of the most memorable casts in the series. not the best FE, but a solid title nonetheless.
