Another open world game, except with a pretty cool story and atmosphere. If this was a linear experience I reckon it would be among my fave games of the year so far. The problem is, it just has bog standard open world design with repetitiveness as a feature. This does nothing for me this far into the open world craze, I need more than that. Padding the experience hinders it and gets in the way of the cooler aspects. Aside from that, gameplay is fine, progression is okay.

Top notch cinematics, story, art direction mostly compensate for a combat system that never quite clicks, and a somewhat repetitive open world structure. The side content is there for anyone who wants it but I got through the excellent main story in about 16 hours.

Nonsense collectathon, with repetitive combat, that never lets you figure anything out on your own. But the atmosphere and use of mythology are cool. Possibly being slightly generous with the score.

A definite favorite of mine, this open-world game allows you to slowly open the map as you progress in a way that works very well and allows you to explore and get better at the various powers and mechanics. I loved this one.
