Gloomhaven is a game of Euro-inspired tactical combat in a persistent world of shifting motives. Players will take on the role of a wandering adventurer with their own special set of skills and their own reasons for traveling to this dark corner of the world. Players must work together out of necessity to clear out menacing dungeons and forgotten ruins.

I'll reserve the right to adjust this up or down as my group is only a half dozen scenarios. This game has a ton of cool stuff going on. Adjustable difficulty, the way you play cards on your turn and then slowly lose cards over each scenario, the legacy mechanics. It all works. I will say enemy movement can come out a bit clunky. And you might have a worse time than your friends by getting screwed on things like secret bonus objectives which can feel lame. Overall though, really cool and fun.
