Loved this game and today my extent of car knowledge is exactly the same. I drive a white car.

End of schoolyear 97/98 - after playing on pirate NES clone for years I've finally saved up some money for a new console. With whole summer of playing Super Mario 64 ahead of me I've went super-excited to the shop for my new Nintendo, but it was actually the first week they've brought Gran Turismo imports to the shop. "Well... let me try just that one race"... I've never bought that N64 in the end.

Basically 3 different licenses on this game which you have to aquire to do the main racing events in this game. Each license contains 8 courses each. To get a license you have to get a bronze..It's really hard to get all bronze in this game even though it's the minimum requirment. Then you got to farm enough money to buy cars that will just be enough to race the other cars. This sucks because you just want to race the main races in this game. Just getting licenses is really hard.

Excellent racer and was the dogs bollocks in its day.

"Feel handling and agility so real," it's like you really are driving a car and every slight mistake at high speed is an invitation for Death to enter thy domain and destroy thine fragile existence.

The first game I ever played on Ps1

Spent months messing with cars and tweaking and running circuits with friends.
