So saccharine it hurts. It has personality, but the game is pretty shallow. The combat is functional, but most of the time you'll just be mashing and the enemy/level design usually doesn't make you think much beyond that. The level design is aesthetically pleasing to look at, but it feels fairly generic and uninteresting. Gurumin isn't a terrible game by any means, it's just extremely mediocre and innocuous - which is especially odd given the fantastic games its developer has made.
