Actually did a 1cc of this game, and I think there's some ups and downs on level design. Initial batches levels have pretty boring gimmicks and the vehicles don't really add much in terms of make use of mobility and variety. But I feel that all pales to the fact this is the only game with an actual slide button which adds a lot of cool new ways to approach encounters. The new enemies are kind of whatever but this game has some of my favorite bosses in the series, especially the final boss.

I like the early levels. Miss the old goofy soldiers. final boss is like wtf.
