This might actually be a great game, but I didn't bother sticking around to find out. It's like the developers actively wanted new players to fuck off or they were trying to set a world record for number of annoying tutorials and menus and crafting systems to drown you in (the fact that this is supposed to be their most accessible game yet makes me shudder in terror at what playing the prior installments must be like).

Friends and I were looking for a new group game and they were all big monster hunter fans. I'm not gonna say this is bad, but I could not give less of a shit about any part of this. To each their own.

It's not bad, but there is such a lack of polish that it's pretty hard to enjoy. The difficulty also feels all over the place.
