NHLPA Hockey '93 is a Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo Entertainment System ice hockey game developed by Park Place Productions and published by Electronic Arts Sports Network. It is the second installment of the NHL series and the first to be released for the Super NES. Although considered to be the second EA Sports NHL game, the game was not licensed by the NHL, however it did receive licensing permission from the NHLPA. Because of this all teams are referred to only by city. (wikipedia.org)

Not good but not bad either. I think this game should have at least had you control the goalies. I mean the past gen with nes let you control the goalie and for some reason it was not available in this one.

The second installment of the NHL series saw players actually getting names, as the license to use real NHL players was allowed for the first time. It was super easy to score and after a few games against the CPU, the first "glitch goal" of the NHL series was found. Just press the pass button on a breakaway and it would always go through the goalie's 5 hole. You could easily score 100 goals against the CPU with 20 minute periods turned on. Fun times!
