Hard, but I'll be honest, due to my lack of patience for brutal games at this point in my life, I like that there's a baby mode in there. This is the type of game where there are always 5 hyper aggressive, fast enemies assaulting you. But it's quite fun. Combat's satisfying, violent, bloody, snappy. These days, I dig the linearity. It just wants to move you along a straight path for the most part. Story is whatever, but you're not here for that I assume.

This game is excellent within a narrow field. Story is forgettable, but the combat still shines. It's a conga line of killing, a combat gauntlet singlemindedly uninterested in exploration or puzzles or anything else.Those who appreciate the deep combat mechanics will love this, but most will find the pacing exhausting and the game does a terrible job teaching the uninitiated about how to play.
