Inspired by pachinko and bagatelle, each level of Peggle challenges the player to shoot a limited supply of balls at a field of colored pegs to clear out specifically marked pegs while attempting to achieve a high score through skilled shot planning. I could see playing this if I got super bored or as a joke with friends but there isn't a whole lot to it, feels like a flash game I would have played in the early 2000's. It can be fun for a few levels.

Games that rely more on pure luck than actual skill often tend to drive me crazy, and Peggle is no exception in that department. The difference is Peggle maintains some kind of irresistible addictiveness and I really have no clue why. It might be the bright rainbows or the enthusiastic sound effects whenever you do something totally awesome
