Phantom Brave

A fun twist on the Disgaea formula that limits you in clever ways boasting a lot of neat mechanics which the ai intelligently takes advantage of. The variance in combat is amazing, with really neat terrain design, classes, and weapon use that allow for a lot of creative strategies and map design. The plot can have a lot of cheesy non-sense and melodrama while spending a lot of time going nowhere, but it's so charming in its use of themes and characterization that it's hard to hate.
