It seems like there's a good amount of depth to the battle system, but I never got very far into it because it requires SO much grinding. I'm managing this character who goes to work, buys food, exercises, goes to work, buys food, exercises, and I find myself thinking... This is just a less-fulfilling version of stuff I do in real life. Only difference is the guy in the game gets in a fight every few weeks and gets his ass beat.

The simulation aspects are legitimately well designed, and I loved the overall aesthetic and theme of the game... however, that's ruined by its atrocious battle system. Much of the battle system relies on pure RNG, making a lot of fights more of a stroke of luck than skill. This becomes even more infuriating when you're ahead of an opponent but due to your shit luck, you end up losing anyway. Watching the fights unfold also gets tiring, especially when you have limited input on them.
