Shantae: Risky's Revenge

This is a very short game, but it is very enjoyable to people who like Metroidvanias. There are only 3 dungeons and 5 bosses. If this game was as long as the others in the series, this game would easily be one of the best Indie Metroidvanias there are.

Barebones with forgettable level design and basic, uninteresting gameplay. To its credit, the game feels technically polished and the plot/setting is charming, but the combat is one-dimensional with boss fights that are braindead easy. The animal transformations are a novel concept but aside from the monkey most of them don't feel like they add much and their use is overly contextual. The game isn't technically terrible, but it's so run of the mill and uninteresting that it's easily skippable,
