Skullgirls is odd for me because I played it in its early days and never got to see what Mike Z made of the game. But given how Mike Z has been acting recently, the updates to Skullgirl probably haven't been for the better. Personally, I disliked how overly strong chicken blocking was, the priority on resets, and the incredibly small character roster. Other than that, the aesthetic was generally nice and I dug the soundtrack. The team mechanic was neat too, even if it was pointless.
