A crafting/survival game like this could really work. Deserted on an island is of course the preeminent "what if" scenario. Sadly the game is a broken and nearly unplayable mess. Missed chance.

Gave it a shot as the new PS plus game of the month. It's janky as hell and feels unfinished. Played for about 1.5 hours, saving throughout, eventually got killed by a boar that was somehow impervious to ax wounds. Went to load my save and found myself back at the very start. Don't know if I just got unlucky with some kind of data loss glitch right out of the gate or if the save function is legitimately broken. Not interested in playing any more to find out.
