Well... the sequel's better.

A game few would remember if not for the sequel. The big, colorful sprites and environments are its strongest elements, but the hopelessly unresponsive controls (with or without the gimmicky pressure-sensitive buttons from some arcade cabinets) make it little more than a curiosity. Still, they did rework the concept into something much more polished and accomplished eventually. In the game's own words: "Try again, kiddo."

*cheating ai (reads inputs, faster, much higher damage than you) *atrocious input lag *negative edge controls *no combos

You'd probably have better luck actually performing these special moves in real life.
