Syphon Filter

It's been almost 20 years and no game has had a taser this wild.

I find its jank and hamminess amusing but this game isn't good. The level design is linear yet the game is awful in conveying to you where to go at times and the ai detection is incongruous to the game's attempts at "stealth." The controls are jank but in a bad way; due to lacking analog and utilizing tank controls, the game is forced to rely on a lock-on system which often trivializes enemy encounters since the only thing ai is capable of is standing still or running mindlessly towards you.

Tough to rate now, but back then it was the definition of stealth game.
