This only is lower in score than 7 because this game was released in 2009, same year as GTA IV and GTA IV at the time had a WAAAYYY better netcode than this game, and GTA didn't even needed to have a good online netcode.

I didn't like a lot of changes made in this game - rage was a dumb mechanic, the big story mode they concocted was awful, the stage transitions felt awkward and hurt the flow of combat, and it somehow manages to have less content than Tekken 5. I also disliked how a lot of movesets have been generalized - Everyone has a barge and kickflip, and everyone can do lame wall carry juggles. Feng is supposed to be a powerhouse, but the game diminishes that. Tekken is still fun, but this entry is lacking
