The Ascent

The Ascent has too much padding/fluff, which would have been better had I actually played with someone. The story is whatever. The visuals/atmosphere/design are great. The pulsating soundtrack and the twin-stick shooter action (I'm a sucker for it) really drives the game forward. And although it's a little thing, the cover system is a nice addition. Has a decent amount of level progression as well. I loved this for the first few hours but the cracks started to show after, but it's still an 80.
