The Eternal Castle [REMASTERED]

The effort that the developers put into the fiction behind this supposedly remastered game is WONDERFUL, the visuals annoyed me at first but soon created a very endearing atmosphere. The music is incredible. Animation is stellar. So it's maddening that it still plays like an old game: the platforming, shooting and general movement can be really clunky and annoying, making the game unfun at times. But it's still good by my scale, mostly due to the aesthetic and story.
