The King of Fighters '98

Among one of the best KOF games despite dodge rolls making projectiles practically irrelevant and ADV being the only valid style to play. The game does not suffer as many problematic bugs that other KOF games do while also being one of if not the only game in the series to utilize whiff punishes effectively. SNK sought to refine all the elements of past games, and while not completely successful on that front, they did great work with character changes and toning down broken elements.
