The overarching plot (paying off a debt) feels like a joke, and the protagonist a naive idiot, but the individual cases are surprisingly dark and filled with social commentary, but the rigid gameplay feels like putting the square shape in the square hole which made me feel that this would have been better off as a summarised retrospective youtube video.

A fun detection-adventure with Phoenix Wright-style mechanics and a plot that evokes both Otherside Picnic and Umineko: When They Cry. It's got sharper social satire than I expected, a delightfully sapphic dynamic between our main character and her reluctant partner in investigation, good humor, great facial expressions, stylized pixel art, and an unexpected ending. Good stuff.
