Watch Dogs: Legion

I bought this basically to check out a London sim, after 20 or so hours I'd explored the city and come to realization that this was a soulless husk. Shame that this is the one Watch Dogs game I'm going to play.

Fun at times. In 1 and 2 we were spoiled with a cast of fully established and likable characters, but the recruit anybody feature in this kinda throws that out the window and ends up making the game’s world feel lifeless and empty. Every recruitable character feels completely expendable and impossible to form any emotional attachment to. I feel like this game is kind of a death knell for the Watchdogs franchise.

I think the gameplay is pretty solid, and Bagley is a lot of fun, but the "recruit anybody" thing just doesn't work as well as it should, nor is it as interesting as having real characters with real motivations and character development. Most of the voice acting for the playable characters is not great, although there were a few that weren't too bad. The podcasts and music were great, as was driving around and exploring London. Locations became repetitive though.
