Immensely overrated. While the setting is cool, the plot and characters are as cookie cutter as you can get with JRPG's. The gameplay is hit and miss - the dungeon design is cool if perhaps simplistic by Zelda-like game standards, but the combat is as boring and generic as you can get with JRPG's. Aside from some neat dungeon design, there's really nothing that stands out about this game in the PS1's large library of JRPG's.
