XCOM: Chimera Squad

Quite a bit more casual and straight forward than the series proper. The story is fairly interesting, in that it shows what day-to-day life in world where the humans won, but we must co-exist with the aliens who had no choice in the invasion. All in all, a good intro to the series, but not especially deep.

Quite a few mild changes give a refreshing facelift to the xcom format. I am particularly a fan of the breach mechanic. Also having all named characters that you cant let die with unique abilities rather than meat in generic classes to be fed to the meat grinder was very cool although I think it ended up making the game a touch easier but not enough to lessen enjoyment.
