Kingdom Come: Deliverance II (2025) - Rated 03 Jun 2025
One of the greatest gaming experiences I've ever had. There are glitches in it, there are imperfections - but you have to admire how dedicated the team was, how determined they were to bring an excellent story, set in unbelievably detailed world. I'd love to see other studios understanding what exactly that means - that the word 'detailed' doesn't stand for graphic, but that the world in which the game takes place, is believable, realistic and living. And that all while not sacrificing fun.

Dragon's Dogma 2 (2024) - Rated 20 Mar 2025
Some fun with exploring, traversing the map and genuinely entertaining fights with climbing on big enemies being the highlight of them. The rest is shockingly mediocre - the story is being told in a really basic, old-school way, all the NPCs are just static figures (or at least this is how the feel), the systems are unbalanced. Annoying stuff like being constantly encumbered, as you don't know what you might need and what's just a garbage, or losing things, as they disappear when you drop them.

Elden Ring (2022) - Rated 07 Feb 2025
I finished it and ai don’t think I will playing anything like this any soon. It’s among my strongest memories, among the most intensive experiences I’ve ever had. Not having really the correct skills I was struggling badly with progressing - that said I could still feel in every moment that i’s masterpiece.

Baldur's Gate 3 (2023) - Rated 07 Feb 2025
Didn’t believe I could experience these old thrills again. It’svthere. It’s magic, adventure, changing seamlessly between the big events and small characters. It’s long, but it was the first game in years, where I actually wanted to stay a bit longer.

Not just the game, but the overall experience is designed so tightly, nothing is redundant there, amount of all the ingrediences, of everything, is diligently balanced.
