72 63% | Call of Duty 2 (2005) - Rated 16 Sep 2021
"The best of the early Call of Duty's, this game has a good eye for detail of it's real locations and a great story through a dark time in humanities past. If you want fancy mechanics and an in depth multiplayer experience this one isn't for you but if you enjoy an accurate and exciting depiction of a terrible war this game is great. The silo mission is an absolute high point."

34 23% | Wii Play (2006) - Rated 16 Sep 2021
"Arguably better than it's brother 'Wii Sports' but still falls into the same traps of repetitive game play. This one only wins out because it utilities the tech slightly better and has some more variety in game play and themes."

25 10% | Wii Sports (2006) - Rated 16 Sep 2021
"I understand that this game was a first showcase of the incredible new power of the Wii, but it doesn't live up in any way in modern gaming. This could of course be rectified by exciting game play elements or a gripping story but sadly this game has neither and instead opts for repetitive game play that is a novelty for about 10 minutes and then leaves you wanting to play something else."

45 30% | Civilization V (2010) - Rated 16 Sep 2021
"The 'one more turn' nature of this game seems more of a hindrance than help in my eyes. Games so long and complicated that they are all too often given up on and abandoned because the game just can't keep my attention long enough. Some fun to be had on the shorter game modes but honestly the slow pace just isn't for me."

71 57% | Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007) - Rated 16 Sep 2021
"This was Call of Duty fast approaching it's peak and this made for a memorable game with some of the best single player FPS missions around. Held back a little looking back by it's lack of multiplayer variety but overall one of the COD highlights and a game that gave us many great characters and missions."

50 37% | Spelunky (2012) - Rated 15 Dec 2020
"The game that got me into roguelikes. Had I written this before the sequel came out it would have scored higher however the sequel does everything better. Nevertheless, its a solid yet very challenging roguelike game however playing it now it does feel a bit clunky in the controls and ultimately isn't all that great to look at."

27 17% | Getting Over It With Bennett Foddy (2017) - Rated 15 Dec 2020
"Kept my attention long enough to get at least a decent distance but playing this game is a fundamentally frustrating experience and the game knows it. I will give Bennett Foddy some credit for the amusing chatter he provides during the opening portion however it doesn't make up for the inevitable pain that follows. You need to be very good or a masochist to complete this game."

82 77% | Fallout 4 (2015) - Rated 12 Dec 2020
"Builds on the excellent Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I feel like this stands up well among the other games despite many having the opposite opinion. The atmosphere in this game is excellent and the characters are diverse and in many cases superb (Shoutout to Nick Valentine). Some uninteresting features such as the city building feel like bloat for the sake of bloat but it doesn't stop this being an excellent open world game."

20 3% | Snake Pass (2017) - Rated 19 Jun 2020
"I'd rather play the old mobile phone snake game than this. The snake felt clunky to control which may be a sign that I'm just bad, however I was struggling enough that level 2 was a frustrating experience so I can't imagine what the later game would be like. Not something I'd recommend but at least this one was a freebie so I don't feel hard done by."

60 43% | Party Hard (2015) - Rated 19 Jun 2020
"Good fun for a couple hours. Not exactly groundbreaking but decent gameplay and easy to get into with however with a good amount of challenge towards the end (with some difficult achievements too) Art style isn't something I'm super keen on. There's just something a bit off about the pixel graphics. A few buggy achievements which got annoying but on the whole nothing game breaking. Also once you've completed the base game there's little replayability, as characters don't feel varied enough."
