Super Metroid (1994) - Rated 23 Jul 2023
Movement and gameplay feels fun and challenging, especially the wall jump mechanics. Atmosphere and sense of exploration is also good.

Hades (2020) - Rated 23 Jul 2023
Core gameplay loop is very fun. Also tons of well voice-acted dialogue. However, the content of the dialogue isn't all that interesting, and the repetitive roguelite elements eventually become grindy.

God of War (2018) - Rated 23 Jul 2023
Gameplay: good. At the hardest difficulty level, presents a challenge. Story: poor. Characters are cartoony and tropey. "End game" is grindy and repetitive, and on hardest difficulty involves too many encounters that feel more luck than competency based.
