Eternights
I do understand criticisms. The environments are also really simplistic and a little uninspired most of the time. It's too dark. The soundtrack is cool but the game does feel like a mobile game to some degree. I thought it was a mobile phone ported to console/PC but I was surprised to find it's the opposite.
Ultimately I didn't care. The stuff this does well was more than enough to make me love it. I was invested in all the characters and the ending (I got Yuna) was crushing, but hopeful, which goes along with the rest of the game. The biggest surprised was how genuinely funny it was. Ignore the shortcomings (and negative reviews), this is a gem.

Mini Review: I thought about dropping this 5 points because of the stupid bike section but I don't think I need to do an otherwise wonderful game dirty like that. Look, is it the most complex game? Nah. The combat is pretty simplistic. The dating sim is too. But the strength here is in the characters, story/plot and even humour, which are all done well. It's incredibly emotional, the characters are deep and that makes the dating sim elements better, and it's surprisingly hilarious with a cool story.
