The best B-action movie I've ever been in - and I got to bring one of my mates too!

AFter a solid beginning with a well realized prison setting and suspenseful gameplay, the story sort of loses steam. The gameplay is a series of minigames; it's a driving game, a motorbike game, a shooter, a co-op stealth game. None of these are outstanding, but they don't fall below the level of mediocrity into just awful either.

It flashes all the base concepts that will be mastered later by It Takes Two. That said, I think I like this story more. I love the humor in these games, it really feels unique. Just a blanket recommend for all 3 game from Hazelight up to this point. Get your beastie or partner and play them.

A solid conclusion can't make me forget how bad the writing is.

I dig the novelty of this game but it's very shallow. Gameplay is either overly contextual item usage with possible QTE's or the rarer and barebones attempts at action or stealth. This isn't a game that wants you to experiment with its gameplay. In terms of narrative, the plot feels like they wanted to be Shawshank Redemption but with more shittier dialog and laughably non-sensical setpieces. Do the writers understand how cars work or how ridiculously strong these guys are?

Loved the idea more than the execution. Although it's great to play a cineastic, storydriven game with a friend, it's really more a rigid sequence of button prompts you have to get right in order to advance the story. It's the same "rail-shooter" concept that bothers me about rockstar games' missions. Go there, do that. Watch things unfold. Rinse, repeat. I'd be more ok with that, if they had the jaw-dropping dynamic open world to compensate.

Firstly this game is not a AAA game. But really coop+story is good. But I don't like final.

I said it needed a great finale to reach an 80 and I love what they did. I wish some of the "puzzles" were more freeform, similar to something like Hitman where there are options. The shooting is crap but I'm glad it was there anyway. Not all of the co-op stuff is riveting but there are a bunch of scenes that truly are. I was invested in these characters even if the plot itself took some illogical steps. Mini-games were a nice touch. Despite the flaws I never stopped having fun.
