Both the platforming and tower defense elements are completely solid but ultimately unimpressive, which makes this a game that is still quite a bit of fun to play while also making it something that doesn't quite hit its potential. It does do some fairly interesting things with the level design during the tower defense segments, so it is probably better at that than it's other half. Also, playing by yourself like I had to is not nearly as fun as I imagine co-op would be.
