This game is tough to review. As a tech demo it was absolutely stunning for 1991. The game mechanics though is not exactly my cup of tea :-(

i like the style and setting/story. i appreciate the difficulty but it was too much for me without save states to reload suitably. so i watched it on yt. i see the combat gets way too hard too lol

Impressive for a SNES game, but that's about it. Most of the game is just trial and error.

I love the idea of this game and its eerie presentation but always had such a hard time wrapping my mind around it, both as a kid and when I tried to replay it just last year.
