Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden

The gameplay is the most simplistic JRPG shit imaginable, but fuck me if this isn't hilarious. It runs the usual trend of RPG Maker games being good for things that have nothing to with the RPG aspects itself, making it more of a game you play for the memes than for the gameplay.

the funniest game ever made. a completely absurd premise made only more absurd by the absurd extremes to which premise is taken, resulting in one of the funniest satires ever made -- in this case, lampooing the self-seriousness of jRPGs. but it also manages to construct an incredibly fun battle system, amusing puzzles, richly detailed characters and a killer fuckin' soundtrack. the best five hours you'll ever spend playing a video game. seven, if you're on Victorian Steampunk mode.
