'Blood', with its lushly (and gorishly) detailed art, concrete, intricate level design, and unending willingness to entertain, is the last and best of the classic sprite-based FPSes, unfortunately coming out slightly too late to be more than a cult classic, but aging with much greater grace than many early 3D games.
