Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon

tight gameplay, intersting bosses, multi-path levels, different characters, different endings. I only beat the normal mode, and gave up on the second boss night mare mode. But after watching utube about the nightmare final boss, and other endings. I felt like this game is really well made. The devs really out did themselves.

A solid title even if the platforming can be annoyingly jank. The level design has a lot of varying pathways and there's a good amount of neat gimmicks utilized. The character selection is decently balanced and there are fun mechanics with each of them. On the other hand, the bosses are underwhelming and have one-dimensional patterns. The level design could also be overly catered to one characters abilities, making it annoying to play certain sections without them.

Slots in seamlessly with the NES Castlevania games. I enjoyed it so much I played through the whole thing four times in a week.
