I liked the single-player campaign because it ties to the other Call of Duty games very nicely. It was an improvement on Modern Warfare 2 (multiplayer) in the places that it mattered. I really think this was the pinnacle of the Call of Duty franchise, and that it was all downhill from here. Also, that one character looks a lot like Ben Stiller.

One of the last Call of Duty games I played, got bored pretty quickly.

Definitely the video game I was best at of all games in the modern area. Perfect balance of fun/quick pace and realism. It's a hard balance to get right, and I don't think it's been done better before or since.

Black Ops 1 was Treyarch’s most refined project to this date. Lagging behind a little in what Infinity Ward had done with the MW sub series, Treyarch was looking to have it’s definitive series and this proved worthy. Black Ops wasn’t perfect, but introduced plenty of iconic maps, solid weapons, and respectful updates/DLC in it’s own right. The campaign stood up to par with what to expect, and Chapter 2 of Zombies had some great maps and ideas that would later be expanded on. Very solid.
