Novel and challenging mechanics; as someone with a poor sense of rhythm, it took me a long time to get even remotely decent with them. Overall it's a bit too fast paced for my liking; taking a moment to think can really screw you over. Sadly, most of the extra characters seem absurdly difficult and don't appeal to me at all. I just did story playthroughs with Cadence and Melody before uninstalling.

Looks good, sounds good. Too bad I have no sense of rhythm - this was unplayable for me.

The game's mechanics are fairly simple, but still make for a lot of fun. My main draw was the fact that you can import your own music, which works really well. The only downsides are that it takes some time to load each time you input a new song, and the music of the first few levels gets very repetitive. The game would really benefit from a playlist/shuffle function. Of course, I played in early access, so maybe that function does exist now?
